A yearly hiking arrangement the first Saturday in September for ladies. 1800 ladies assemble before starting the walk on Hardangervidda with great view to Gaustatoppen all the way.

Busses are arranged to and from Rjukan and many exciting activities are organised in the town.

There is also an opportunity to shop at the market, Kjerringtorget, or to eat an elegant meal at one of the towns restaurants while waiting for the evenings concert and cultural events to begin.
