Introduction
Our company is responsible for processing personal data in our central systems for marketing, booking and invoicing. Our company is responsible for processing our internet pages, for your account on our booking site, for intermediaries between customer and supplier, as well as processing responsible for our marketing and sending of e-mails to our customers and contacts.
Your personal data will be processed by various actors. When you order a product from a supplier, we as drivers of the booking program will have to process the personal data that you registered when ordering so that the supplier receives the information they need to be able to deliver the product. Our booking program is owned by Data Nova, which will also have access to access and process personal data if the need for technical support arises.
To explain the information flow:
Customer (you place an order) → VisitRjukan (receive order? Automatically forwards necessary selective information to various stages) → Data Nova (owns and operates the program in which orders are located) → DIBS (payment intermediary) → Supplier (product owner).
Everyone who receives and processes personal information in the booking process has a duty of confidentiality, and does not have the opportunity to provide information to others if it is not necessary to run the company.
Processing of personal data related to booking and stay
In connection with your bookings made by yourself or by others on your behalf, we process the personal information we need for us to be able to fulfill the agreement on booking and purchase of services. This is information you have given us directly. For example, we process information about your identity, your contact information and your payment information. In addition, we process other information you may have given us that is relevant to your stay with us.
We process this information for as long as is necessary to fulfill the booking agreement with you, and in addition as long as applicable legislation or government orders impose this on us. You can at any time request access or deletion of information by contacting us directly by email or telephone.
Processing of personal data in your user account (web profile)
The information you provide will be stored together with booking data and purchase history. The basis for our use of the information is to fulfill agreements with you.
Processing of personal data for marketing purposes
You can withdraw the consent you have given us at any time.
It is possible to subscribe to e-mail mailings from visitRjukan (Mailmojo is our newsletter provider). This is voluntary and means that you regularly receive e-mails within the topics you have chosen to subscribe to. To be able to make these mailings, it is necessary to register with your e-mail address and contact information. This information is stored in our CRM and e-mail system. You can withdraw your consent to send e-mail at any time. visitRjukan will then delete your contact information from the address list of the relevant newsletter.
Processing of personal data for development, troubleshooting and security
We will process data that includes personal information to troubleshoot and correct errors, improve our services and the technology we use, and analyze analytics and user behavior. Furthermore, we will process personal data to verify your identity, including verifying identity in connection with your use of our digital services.
We anonymize data or compile statistics as far as we can, but will also have to process personal data for development, troubleshooting, statistics and security purposes.
In our agreement with Data Nova, they have assumed responsibility for technical security around our booking program. They assure that personal data will not go astray through unauthorized or illegal processing, loss of data resulting from accidental or illegal activity, deletion, alteration, or unauthorized access and dissemination.
Processing of personal data in general
If you in any way contact us with inquiries, we will process personal information you provide to the extent necessary to respond to your inquiry. The basis for this is legitimate interests or to fulfill agreements with you or answer your inquiries.
In addition to the processing described in our privacy statement or based on your consent, we will in some cases have to or may process personal data when applicable legislation, including the Personal Data Act and GDPR, valid government order or court imposes or allows us to do so.
When a customer wants to delete data about themselves or gain knowledge of personal data
You (the customer) must send an e-mail to info@visitrjukan.com with enough information to be able to identify you and state what you want (information only or if you also want to delete data).
NB! You can not select which data to delete. It's all or nothing. You will receive a reply from us within 30 days.
Use of cookies
At www.visitrjukan.com we log information about all visitors using Google Analytics. The information that is logged cannot be traced back to you as an individual.
