These terms apply between visitRjukan AS and the person / company on which the order is registered.
Who is responsible?
vistiRjukan AS is responsible to you regarding the quality and execution of packages sold to you. The subcontractors that visitRjukan uses are again responsible for their part of the complete travel plan.
The orderer is financially responsible for the entire order and all in the same travel order, including payment of the entire purchase price. Upon receipt of confirmation and documents, the customer is responsible for checking that it corresponds with the order.
visitRjukan AS is responsible for the following:
Receive your oral or written booking.
You will receive the necessary documents.
Booking confirmation will be delivered to you via email. visitRjukan AS is not responsible for promises that the subcontractor or his contact person gives to the guest, and which are not stated in the booking confirmation.
You will be informed of all significant changes regarding your order.
The suppliers (ies) get paid for the services you have purchased.
When will the order become binding?
The order becomes binding when it is confirmed orally or in writing by visitRjukan AS.
When should I pay when booking a stay?
Payment is made at the same time as the order. Invoices are sent in a separate e-mail directly from vistiRjukan's invoicing system Xledger.
CANCELLATION RULES
Cancellation of accommodation packages with activities for less than 10 people:
(separate terms apply for groups over 10 people)
Cancellation up to 15 days before departure: NOK 300 in fee
Cancellation between 15 - 3 days before departure: charged 50% of the trip
Cancellation later than 3 days before: no refund
Change is considered to be cancellation. Equal conditions apply.
Visist Rjukan uses subcontractors who may have longer cancellation deadlines than these, and in such cases this must be informed in the offer. VR reserves the right to change the cancellation deadline, if a change of subcontractor occurs. The orderer must be informed soon of the changed circumstances.
VisitRjukan may cancel without liability if it is proven that it can not be implemented as a result of obstacles beyond VR's control, and which could not reasonably be expected to be taken into account when the agreement was entered into, and for which neither VR nor anyone in the company is responsible. for, had been able to avoid or avert the consequences of. Such conditions may include, but are not limited to, strikes, lock-outs, fire, ash from volcanic eruptions, non-delivery by subcontractors, war, acts of war, natural disasters or outbreaks of infectious diseases, or other conditions comparable to those mentioned. Visitrjukan AS will provide the customer with immediate information when and if such a relationship occurs.
Cancellation fee accommodation only:
If you have only booked accommodation, the accommodation's own conditions apply.
What are the cancellation conditions for activities (not packages):

Accommodation packages with tickets for events cannot be canceled:
Applies to the purchase of accommodation packages with tickets to events: The purchase is completed when payment has been made. Purchased tickets are non-refundable. Lost tickets will not be replaced. The right of withdrawal does not apply to the purchase of tickets (cf. the Right of Withdrawal Act §12).
What if I just want to change something?
A change is considered a cancellation.
What happens if something goes wrong?
If your stay cannot be delivered according to the travel documents you have received and if no alternative of the same quality can be offered (eg you are offered another hotel in the same class and location), you have the right to cancel. vistiRjukan AS then pays back everything you have paid in, less the parts you have already used. If an error occurs after arrival, it is important to have this rectified on site (eg at the hotel). If you subsequently want to complain, you should in the first instance contact visitRjukan AS. Please note that your chances of getting a refund are best if you wait too long to complain.
Travel Guarantee Fund
visitRjukan AS takes responsibility for all travel covered by the Norwegian Package Travel Act. visitRjukan AS has a statutory guarantee and therefore gives you as a buyer of a package tour security as stipulated in the Package Travel Act. For products and services that are not protected by the Package Travel Act, visitRjukan AS accepts responsibility for errors related to our own reservation service. All other requirements must be resolved between the supplier and the customer. For more information, see: www.reisegarantifondet.no.
What happens if we do not agree?
If we do not reach an agreement, you can contact the Complaints Board for Corporate Travel, PO Box 2924 Solli, 0230 Oslo, within 4 weeks after the final answer is available from visitRjukan AS.
Subject to change and error
We reserve the right to make changes and errors on the website. All information is provided subject to changes that may have occurred after this was added.
Reservations are also made for any typos.
Processing of personal data
The personal information, ex. name, address, e-mail addresses and telephone number, which you provide in connection with your booking, can be used by visitRjukan AS as a basis for market and customer analyzes as well as statistics. By providing your personal information, you agree that visitRjukan AS processes your personal information for the stated purposes.
