Country pop artist Madeléne Stensrud (b. 2001) from Uvdal has been singing, playing, and writing music her entire life and has been described as “what if Tate McRae grew up in the countryside with Hellbillies blasting from the car stereo.”
As a teenager, she achieved success on Instagram and YouTube, as well as with her book “Jentetips.” At just 20 years old, she traveled halfway around the world to Costa Rica without knowing anyone. There, she started her own surf school and ran a successful business based on the network she had built through social media.
In 2025, Madeléne decided to pursue a full-time career as an artist, moved back to Norway, quickly began collaborating with The Norwegian Sound, and soon signed a record deal with Sony Music.
Her venture has already resulted in a song among the 10 most played on Norwegian radio, nearly 2 million streams, and a duet with El Papi that went straight into Norway’s Top 50 chart.
Meet Norway’s new country pop star, Madeléne, at an exclusive intimate concert at Den Lykkelige Sportsmann.
