Join a historic route that has transported generations of hikers, cabin owners, and locals in and out of a unique roadless community. Fjellvåken, in various versions, has been faithfully serving this route for over 130 years.

The catamaran Fjellvåken races the 40 kilometers past mountain farms in a stunning landscape. The waterway is the main route for those living permanently along Møsvatn. The freezing and thawing of the lake isolate the area for a few weeks in spring and autumn. Møsvatn, at 918 meters above sea level, offers an unforgettable experience.

The boat docks and remains at Liseth long enough for you to walk the Kvennavegen path or take a hike up to Argefoss, which is actually the beginning of the industrial adventure. You might also enjoy a bite to eat and coffee at Argehovd farm. Detailed information will be provided on Fjellvåken on the way in!

It is also a fantastic starting point for day trips, fishing trips, and camping, and a natural start for a longer hike on Hardangervidda. The boat offers light refreshments, but you can order something else when you book.
