The lake Tinnsjøen is the largest lake in Tinn and popular for swimmers. At Sandviken Camping in Tinn Austbygd, you can find a beautiful beach which is used by both locals, guests of the camping site and day visitors. If you prefer to swim in warmer water, we recommend going to Sandvatn in Hovin. In the north end of the lake you can find one of the finest sandy beaches in the area. In the middle of a neighbourhood in Rjukan, you will find Tveitotjernet surrounded by green areas as well as a playground. If you prefer swimming pools, you will find Rjukanbadet to be the perfect place.
